We LOVE being a part of the elopement planning process and helping research places we think fit our couples’ personalities and dream wedding vibe. There are so many things to consider when choosing an elopement destination, and we can help guide you through them all. For example, how far are you willing to travel? Are there any places you’ve both been wanderlusting over? Is there a place you’ve visited that holds a special place in your heart? Then there is the level of adventure you’re up for. National Park elopements with epic views may require a bit of hiking, and depending on the season, have more or less crowds. When it’s all said and done, you’ll have found the place you want to bind your hearts together, body & soul.
Besides getting to know and photograph your love story, getting to travel with you is the next best thing about what we do. We are STOKED anytime a couple wants us to document their adventure elopement. Depending on the destination, we may even have a discount on travel fees. Definitely reach out to us ASAP if you have a spot in mind so we can ensure we’ll be able to meet you wherever you wander!
At Equilibrium Photos, elopements and adventure sessions are the heart of what we do. We believe in creating memories over following traditions because you feel like you have to.
Our love of travel is what brought Ezra and I together in 2020, and we know first-hand how meaningful it is to explore new places with your best friend. Our photography philosophy and style is organic, earthy and natural, no matter where we’re shooting.
Being a husband-wife team also means we bring the perfect balance to every shot. Emma is there to prompt all the tender moments, capturing every belly laugh and love-filled glance. Whereas Ezra is a pro at capturing the little details and epic landscape shots. Between the two of us, it’s like having your own documentary team every step of the way (and being a couple ourselves, it helps make the moment feel a heckuva lot more natural).
The process is just as seamless as our Wildly In Love Wedding Package. First, you’ll fill out our contact form so we can hop on a call to get to know you better. We’ll go over all your eloping dreams, as well as chat about what packages will fit your goals. If it all sounds good and groovy, we’ll then send over a contract & initial deposit. From there, we’ll start researching the elopement location you’ve chosen (making sure we take care of any photography permits and travel logistics). We essentially will be your go-to elopement team to make your big day one you get to simply soak in with not a stress in the world.
We’re over the moon anytime a couple wants to elope, so we jump in immediately to fill in any needs or gaps during the planning process. From the photography side, we’ll make sure we’re on top of the weather, have scouted out all the best photo spots/views, will help with timelines and check to see if your elopement location requires a photography permit. That said, we don’t cover the photography permit fees. Occasionally, the location will require the couple themselves to fill out the permit request. However, we will definitely let you know and send you all the info you need to make the process as effortless as possible.

Once the deposit is paid and contracts are signed, we’ll start helping you dream up the best day ever. We’ll send over our Wedding Guide, help with color palettes, recommend wedding vendors, and essentially fill in any gaps to make the process as smooth as possible. Included in our wedding and elopement packages, our engagement sessions are intentionally designed to get to know you individually and as a couple. When Ezra and I show up, we play your favorite music, tagging along to document your dreamy date. I’ll also teach you my prompt-based photography style, so once it comes time for your big day, you're already a seasoned pro. I promise this will make all your nervous “what do I do in front of the camera” energy disappear.

We want to be there for you every step of the way, from start to finish (and honestly even beyond). We’re your friends who are really good with a camera lens. We love being part of the dreaming and planning stage, as much as being there to capture the memories – so send us all the photos and Pinterest boards of your wedding dress, shoes, invites and any other details. Then when your wedding day comes around, we’ll capture it all: the emotions, the atmosphere, the mood, the calm and the crazy… When it’s all said and done, you’ll have your own visual love story to read over and over again.

The Equilibrium Wedding Guide is an incredible wedding planning resource that breaks down all the steps of the planning process – and is filled with all our go-to tips compiled from years of adventure photography experience. The guide also includes vendor referrals, location scouting tips and a complete breakdown of working with us.
No worries, friend. We’ve created an Engagement Session Style Guide to help you plan your outfits for your first Equilibrium photo session. All couples that book with us receive the style guide, and of course, I’m always here for 1:1 outfit planning help. Send me all the outfit photos, and I can help you color coordinate effortlessly and ensure your outfits compliment the location and express the vibe you’re going for.
ASAP! We are usually booked 6-12 months in advance and dates fill up fast – especially spring and fall wedding dates!
To reserve your date, we require a $500 non-refundable retainer fee and signed contract. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding. We accept payments online or in person by cash, check, or any major credit card.
Yes! We offer a 10% discount off of the original photography package price when paying in full at contract signing.
We charge travel fees if the venue is 2+ hours outside of Cleveland, Ohio. However, some fees may be waived if it's a destination already on our schedule. You can find those details on our homepage or contact us through our inquiry form.
Every wedding is different, but you can expect to receive 50-75 images per hour of coverage.
Wedding photos will be delivered via an online gallery within 6-12 weeks. But we LOVE sending sneak peeks within 24 hours of your wedding!

Keeping our photos organic and natural is integral to the Equilibrium photography style. We seek to capture our couples in their most radiant light AND always stay true to their inherently beautiful selves. We may remove stray hairs or small blemishes, but we do NOT promote and will never “slim down” our couples. We fully embrace body positivity – you are already a work of art.
