Ezra and I adore Cleveland engagement sessions! Rama + Michael reached out hoping to capture photos that felt classic and intimate. She had hoped for the photos to feel like they had come out of a movie. Ezra and I had no hesitation in recommending the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, and the incredibly dreamy Cleveland Museum Of Art.
The Cleveland Cultural Gardens Couples Photos | Cleveland, OH
Set in Michael’s hometown of Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Cultural Gardens are one of Northeast Ohio’s most beautiful treasures. Ezra and I have only had the chance to visit a handful of the 35 lush gardens ourselves. We decided to bring Rama + Michael to the breathtaking Italian cultural Garden to capture their love through our own camera lenses.
Dedicated in 1930 the Italian Cultural garden was conceived and designed in the spirit of the Italian Renaissance. The garden features large walkways, balustrades, benches and two large winding staircases leading down to a lower level amphitheater. A stunning Renaissance fountain modeling the famous fountain in the Villa Medici in Rome, Italy sits in the center piazza.
In the background of many of their garden engagement photos, you’ll see the Italian Cultural Garden, and the absolutely stunning Lithuanian Cultural Garden.

When Bobby slid into Ramas’ Instagram DMS they immediately hit it off. After chatting for several days they quickly met up for an intimate first date at Sullys in Denver, CO. After the date Rama gushed to her sister how Michael felt like home. The couple spent the following two years falling madly in love.

When Rama had mentioned that her vision for their Cleveland engagement photos was Classic and elegant, I knew right away that golden hour at The Cleveland Art museum was the perfect location.This location had it all, columns, white marble staircases, and a tree-lined pond. The white marble steps provided such dreamy reflective light and the sun was putting on a show for us as it set over the city, perfect for photos in front of the fountain.
If there’s one thing that sticks out to me about Rama + Michael, it would have to be just how in love they truly are. It was my first time meeting them, but it was immediately obvious how kind they both are and how much they care for each other. Everything about this Cleveland engagement session was a dream! The couple, the location, the light! It was just stunning!
